    July 15th 2008: Ole Ole, the old Damon’s restaurant on Washington Road

    Will Chrisman will speak on the history of Fort McAllister, an earthen Confederate fortification on the banks of the Great Ogeechee River, just below Savannah. It is now a Georgia state park.

  • Seasonal Park Ranger at Fort Pulaski National Monument and at Fort McAllister State Historic Park (1990-1992)
  • Wrote Undaunted: A History of Fort McAllister, Georgia (published by the Darien Press of Darien, Georgia in 1996)
  • Taught Georgia Governors Honors Program 1999-2001
  • Social Studies Teacher, Academy of Richmond County, 1996-present
  • Chairman, Department of Social Studies, Academy of Richmond County, 1998-present
  • Wife: formerly Ashley Keith of Aiken, SC.
